Expressions of Interest now open!
Our development partner, Komo Energy, have announced Expressions of Interest for the construction of the solar farm are now open.
It’s great news for our project to see things moving ahead.
Contractors, designers, construction companies, individuals and any other interested parties are encouraged to register their interest in one or more aspects of the project as soon as possible.
We are very keen to see as many local companies and individuals get involved in the project as possible. So if you are interested, or know someone who may be, send them to this link to register.
Komo will then contact you with further details once the EOI is closed. But don’t delay, there is only a limited period in which to register your interest.
There’s still time to invest!
While we have been oversubscribed with pledges, there are still a few people who have not taken the step to commit with their investment. We are almost there, but there is still room if you haven’t become a member of the co-op and invested. Get in touch with Lynne and she will help you get involved: projects@ce4g.org.au
Member for Indi, Helen Haines, a big backer of community energy.
Helen Haines presented her second reading of a private member’s bill to parliament last week and is asking for support from other MPs.
Our Vice President, Ed Suttle, attended the launch last week in Canberra and met Helen, together with a number of other community supporters of the bill.
Helen has asked us to encourage our members to write to our local member to solicit support for her bill. Ed has composed a form letter that you might like to use to write to our MP, Angus Taylor. To make it easy, just email Ed and he will send you the letter in Word so you can copy and paste it.
Thank you again for your wonderful support and patience.
Peter Fraser
President, CE4G.
