Planning Agreement – 94 Wilson Drive, Marulan
Council resolved to enter a planning agreement with the developer subdividing land at 94 Wilson Drive, Marulan. The developer will fully fund a water main instlalation, while Council will fund 75% of the supply and installation of a sewer main for the subdivision. When completed, 126 lots will be created at 94 Wilson Drive.
Goulburn Mulwaree Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2021
Council adopted the updated infrastructure contributions plan, with it to be commenced as of 1 June 2021. This is the first major update to the plan since 2009, and the new plan is based on the region’s population growth.
Minor Civil Works
Council approved a panel of nine companies for Minor Civil Works to assist with delivery of maintenance and capital works programs as required.
Landfill Compactor
Council approved purchase of TANA H260 compactor from LIebherr Pty Ltd at a cost of $601,568. This will be used at the Goulburn Waste Management Centre, and would then be relocated to the Marulan Waste Management Centre after five years.
Regional Cities NSW Membership
Regional Cities NSW have invited Goulburn Mulwaree Council to join this group, at a cost of $10,000 per annum. Council have approved this application, which will allow GMC to be involved in this united voice to influence State Government policy and investment on issues such as population growth and regional infrastructure.
Copford Reach Working Party
This working party will present a final report to Council on 20 July, with the focus of this to be on the boatshed, along with access to this area and the adjacent car park.
