Easter Bunny bunting is super easy to make, especially if you have little ones who love to help! This craft looks great using patterned coloured paper — the brighter the better. Alternatively, if you want the kids to get involved, you can use plain paper and let them decorate it.

All you need to make Easter Bunny bunting is:

  • Coloured or patterned paper/board (such as the thick paper used for scrapbooking).
  • Cotton wool balls or pom-poms
  • Scissors
  • Sticky tape
  • String
  • Glue
  • Bunny stencil.

How to make Easter Bunny bunting:

Take your bunny stencil and mark out your bunnies on the patterned paper, ensuring you leave room to cut them out. If you don’t have a bunny stencil, make your own by printing out a rabbit outline from the internet, cutting it out and tracing around it.

Once you’ve cut all your bunnies out, you can begin to decorate them. Feel free to use paint or glitter etc. Alternatively leave the bunnies undecorated for pared down look.

After all the decorating is done, use glue to stick on the pom-pom tails in the appropriate place. Set aside to dry.

Whilst you’re waiting, cut the string to your desired length.

Using sticky tape, stick the head of your bunnies to the string, ensuring they are evenly spaced. If you find the tape isn’t holding your bunnies, try taping in a cross formation.

Now your easter bunny bunting is complete feel free to hang it anywhere in your house. This bunting makes a great addition to any pre-existing decorations or simply on its own.
