Margie’s Pantry

St Saviour's Market – Margie
share

Margie produces lovely homemade jams, pickles, chutneys and slices and handmade craft items such as beanies and hats, bed socks and reusable vegie bags – and she makes everything herself!

She started her business about 6 years ago when she had to leave work and needed a way of making a living. Her daughter was making jewellery and encouraged her to make goods to sell at the markets. It was something she was good at as she had always made goods for school fetes.

She has always loved cooking and making things so having her market business was an obvious and enjoyable activity for her go into. She loves the social side of the markets and she meets people from all over the country and the world doing it.

Her work helps with her house payments and repairs and keeps her happily busy and interested. She has over 60 of her recipes written on bits of paper so hopefully we will see Margie’s Pantry Recipes one day – when she has time of course!

She is at the following markets in the Goulburn area every month:

1st Saturday of the month St. Saviours Craft and Garage sale from 9am to 1pm St. Saviours Cathedral, 170 Bourke Street, Goulburn.

2nd Saturday of the month Parkside Markets from 8.30am to 1.30pm 3 Montague Street, Goulburn
